I'm an aerospace worker with some experience building and fixing things- some experience with farming as well. A kind of a jack of all trades. I'm interested in your project because it may help people.

You have said this was to help poor people. From that I assume the parts have to be cheap and easy to maintain.

I wonder how much thought you have put into this project. I know that such a windmill isn't a new concept. Windmills such as you want have been used in the Southwest US for 100 years or more. If you had enough money you could probably just buy one and install it. But buying it ready-made and shipping it might be costly.

The trick as I understand your problem is there is not much money. Without money you have to find someone who is clever enough to build things and make them work, where the windmill is to be located. I'd like to work with someone like this and maybe we can figure something out together. Are you that person?

Also, I know that sometimes people in the PI might not speak English as their first language. Will this be a problem we need to deal with?

The internet is full of information you might make use of. What research have you done? What materials do you have to work with? What tools do you have? What will this pump need to do? Can the windmill be placed on a high place, or be built tall enough to be away from trees, buildings, and other things that may block the wind? How far up does the water have to be pumped? How much wind do you get in your part of the country? Do you get really strong winds that may damage your windmill? Are there many days with no wind at all?

What materials can you use?

I would like to help. let me know what you can about your problem.
